How People Pleasing Can Be Detrimental

As a recovering people-pleaser, I often don't see how detrimental are loss-win agreements. Unbalanced agreements -> resentment in me -> relationships and business projects fall apart.

Reasons for this behavior:

- My natural desire to support others

- Years of programming to sacrifice (motherhood)

- Subtle guilt from being so blessed in my life

Also, not preparing myself enough for people who don't notice or correct the imbalance.

So, my new principle is:

It is either a Win-Win or No Deal.

Anything other than Win-Win is unsustainable and outside of integrity.
