• CODE OF CONDUCT

here is my code of ethics for teaching meditation and speaking engagements

  1.  Excellence. I commit to providing the highest-quality care to those who seek my professional services.

  2. Know my limits. I represent my qualifications honestly and provide only the services I am qualified to perform. I refrain from recommending treatment, diagnosing a condition, or suggesting that a client disregard medical advice. I agree to acknowledge the limitations of meditation and refer clients to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

  3. Healthy boundaries. An essential part of teaching meditation is the development and maintenance of a professional coach/client relationship. This includes establishing clear and appropriate social boundaries.

  4. Honesty and integrity. I conduct my business and professional activities with honesty and integrity. I avoid any interest, activity, or influence that might be in conflict with my obligation as a coach to act in the best interest of the clients.

  5. Inclusion. I refuse to unjustly discriminate against my clients based on their national origin, race, color, religion, disability, sex, age, and familial status. I make an effort to learn more about the needs of all of my clients.

  6. Unbiased and for everyone. I teach meditation that is secular (not connected to any religion) and not affiliated with any political party, movement, or culture.

  7. Confidentiality. I respect clients’ privacy, disclosure, emotional expression, and beliefs. I keep all the information they share with me in strict confidentiality.
