Hi, I’m Mayya shveygert, ph.d.
I stumbled upon meditation in 2013 when I was an exhausted working parent to a 2-year-old. Meditation became my haven, a place of calm and steadiness amid chaos.
Fast forward 10 years, and here is where life took me…
Executive Director (2020-2022), at the Radiance Sutras® School of Meditation, a school that, under my leadership, has trained over 1,000 meditation teachers since 2020
Developed 6 online meditation programs (4 weeks to 12-months) that taught 1,500+ people
Faculty for Esalen Institute, a leading center for holistic healing
Consultant for pharma and biotech companies
A wife and a Mom to 2 kids, 8 and 12
Having worked in the academic and corporate worlds for 15+ years, I understand the high-pressure and fast-paced environments that many of my clients face. Timelines, deadlines, launches, submissions… All the fun stuff! And yet, we get tired and burned out, especially if we are good at our job.
To solve this problem, I have trained hundreds of people on how meditation can help them find inner peace and emotional strength.
I offer customized meditation programs for organizations and individuals. My goal is to help my clients learn how to recover from stress and build mental and emotional resilience, so they can go back to work and be the superheroes that they are.
I offer:
lunch-and-learn workshops (in-person and virtual)
Meditation Programs tailored to the needs of your teams

Tender meditation approach
PERSONALIZED PRACTICE
I offer customized meditation practice that caters to your individual needs. Instead of teaching only one technique, I can guide you through the hundreds of available meditation methods to help you discover the one that resonates with your mind, body, and Spirit. Together, we will create a meditation routine that works best for you.
modern and science-based
I hold a Ph.D. in Life Sciences, and I work in biotech. My teaching style is practical and grounded, avoiding any esoteric or convoluted concepts. While the approach I teach is rooted in the ancient yoga tradition, it has been developed to serve the needs of modern world.
Troubleshoot any problems
You may have access to a wealth of recorded meditations through the digital apps. However, they may not always provide answers to specific questions that are unique to your practice and life circumstances. I will help you “troubleshoot” any problems you have to ensure that your practice is fulfilling and enriching.
friendly and nourishing
I offer heartful meditations that are filled with compassion and help to soothe your mind and nourish your Being. These meditations tap into the body’s inherent ability to heal, so we can emerge refreshed after just 15 minutes of meditation.
