Me: Take a 5-minute walk and listen to the trees and birds.

Thoughts in my Client’s head: Sounds healthy but I’d rather numb my fatigue with Insta shorts.

Scrolling through social media is much more lucrative than listening to nature.

It’s like food.

Chips are far more lucrative than salad. Very alluring. When done daily, it will damage your health. 

The same with your brain. You brain spends too much time processing information. In your free time, you need less of that, not more. 

You need to expand your attention, not shrink it. 

Expanding attention comes from:

- listening to sounds

- using your eyes to gaze for beauty, not to get/process information

- feeling your body. How it breathes, how it moves.

More body. 

Less brain. 

Better for the brain.
